Upper Clements Park

Upper Clements Park is a seasonal amusement park in Clementsport, Nova Scotia with over 26 rides and attractions, as well as a wildlife park. Opened in 1989 by the Government of Nova Scotia as a regional economic development scheme for the Annapolis Royal area, the park is now operated by a local development authority. The entire complex is adjacent to the Upper Clements Provincial Park. In 2006, attendance topped 100,000. It closes seasonally, and is open for about 90 days yearly.

During the 1990s, the park fell into something of a slump in an economic, attendance, and maintenance sense, but it has recently seen improvements in all these areas.

Owners

  • Province of Nova Scotia (1989-2007)
  • Hanse Society (2007-present) (non-profit organization, purchased the park for $1 in 2007, still works with and receives funding from the provincial government)

The rollercoaster isn't so great; I suggest keeping that as a last resort ride. Plus, it's pretty short.
