Serra Geral National Park is a national park of Brazil.
The park was established by the decree №531 from 20.05.1992 near the National Park Sierra Aparados. It covers an area of 17,300 hectares.
The Serra Geral is one of the most fascinating natural parks of Brazil. The relief of the park is characterized by hills, mountains and valleys. Has a rich and diverse flora and fauna, there are a wide variety of reptiles, amphibians, birds, insects and small mammals.
The climate is mild. The average annual temperature ranges from 18 to 20°C, the absolute maximum from 34 to 36°C, and the absolute minimum of -8 to -4°C. Rainfall from 1500 to 2000 mm per year.
The park is open for tourists.
