Ljubljanica Sluice Gate (Slovene: Zapornica na Ljubljanici) is a sluice gate and a triumphal arch designed in 1939 by the Slovene architect Jože Plečnik on the Ljubljanica river in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. They were envisaged as a monumental farewell of the river Ljubljanica on its exit from the Ljubljana city centre. They were designed to be used as a footbridge too.
