Hrádek u Nechanic was built by František Arnošt, count of Harrach. Its design was developed by the English architect Edward Buckton Lamb, and the construction work was led by the Austrian architect Karl Fischer between 1839 and 1857. The interior includes late Renaissance architecture with fine furnishings and art.
