Hiji Falls

Hiji Falls (比地大滝 Hiji Ōtaki) is a National Park and popular tourist destination on the island of Okinawa, Japan. It is located in the northern part of the island, approximately 20 kilometers north of the city of Nago. The area the falls and the ensuing river flow through is tropical most of the year. It is a popular destination for both site-seers and committed hikers, as the path from the start to the finish at the falls themselves is not far (about 2 miles), but there are many steep steps throughout the path. People visiting the area are warned not to swim near the falls, as there have supposedly been deaths in the past, but there is no enforcement to this regard.they are not much reported to as a wild life crime.

Take & left & you will be on a road I named"Godzilla". Plenty of places to stop & take pictures on mountains. Hiji falls is at the end of a 45 minute walk up & down THOUSANDS of stairs. Not worth it.
