The Geographical Center of Asian Continent is a monument indicating the supposed geographical center of the Asian continent. It is located in Baojia Caozi village of Ürümqi city, Xinjiang province, China. Ürümqi is not the only city that claims to be located in the center of the Asian continent. Kyzyl, the capital of the Tuva Republic in Russia, makes a similar claim. It, too, has a "Center of Asia" monument of its own.
