The Afghanistan-Tajikistan Bridge is 672 meter long, 11.6 meter wide and double laned bridge on Pyandzh river in Nizhniy Pyandzh, Tajikistan and Sherkhan Bandar, Afghanistan border. Project was financed by US Army Corps of Engineers and was designed and constructed by an Italian company, Rizzani de Eccher S.p.A. The project value was $30 million. The bridge was inaugurated on August 26, 2007.
