This is one of Otto Wagner's U-Bahn station pavilions at Karlsplatz designed in the Jugendstil (Vienna's specific interpretation of the Art Nouveau movement) and is extremely photogenic. I came across the structures, they face each other, in low light of evening and still they looked good. On close inspection they are beginning to show their age and probably require constant upkeep.
