The aircraft designed in 1919 was an extension of Ernst Heinkl's design from 1913. More than 3000 machines in B.II and B.IIa versions were built. The presented aircraft, the only Albatros saved in the world, was built in 1919 and was in service in Germany until 1940. It was restored in 1986.
