Muzeum Lotnictwa Polskiego, Kraków, 22 marca 2017 r.
Muzeum powstało w 1964 r. na terenie zlikwidowanego lotniska Rakowice-Czyżyny. Na terenie dawnych hangarów oraz pod gołym niebem eksponowanych jest ponad 200 statków powietrznych, m.in. niemal wszystkie odrzutowce eksploatowane przez Wojsko Polskie. Na terenie muzeum znajduje się również jedna z największych w Europie kolekcji silników lotniczych. W 2010 r. powstał nowy budynek muzeum z lotu ptaka przypominający śmigło.

The museum was founded in 1964 at the area of no-longer functional Rakowice-Czyżyny airport. In old hangars and outdoors more than 200 aircraft are exhibited, including almost all jet airplanes used by the Polish Air Force. In the museum there is one of the biggest collection of aircraft engines in Europe. In 2010 the new main building was built, which resembles a propeller from above.
