Desert House in Schönbrunn The desert house is located right next to the palm house. In the Desert House, an adventure trail leads through desert landscapes from Central America to Madagascar. The glass house in the style of the turn of the century was completed in 1904. At the beginning of the adventure path you will find an aquarium with reddish absorbents. These swarming fish are known to many as nibble fish because they like to remove dander.
