Dunscaith Castle is easily seen from the "main" road (in fact, a single-track loop on the Sleat Peninsula). I wanted to get closer, but our dinner reservations at the Pasta Shed, Ardvasar (better than it sounds!) meant that we were rushed for time. Just as well - apparently it's a precarious scramble to see the castle up close, and the best view is from the shore. I'm undecided about the out-of-focus twigs in the foreground: are they useful foreground interest, or do they just get in the way of the main subject?
