The climb up to the castle on the hlll is quite steep. The burning sun made it feel extremely hot and I could only dream about some shade. Arriving at the entrance gate in a powerful and colossal round tower you are still asking yourself how to get into the castle? The initial entranceway appears to lead into the hillside itself with a fine vaulted ceiling carved from the rock. A dark tunnel-like passage leads up into the interior of the castle, which then suddenly becomes very open and grassy. Parts of it are like a meadow, and you almost expect to see cows and sheep grazing inside. There is in fact considerably less left inside than you would expect from the strength of the outside walls.
