Yurgaychyay is the village in Lithuania, located some 20 km to the north-east from Šiauliai, 100 km south-west of Latvia border. The capital city Vilnius is in 250 km to the south-east. The population of the the community was estimated at 150 people according to the 2008 census Yurgaychyay is a popular tourist destination thanks to its religious places.

The Hill of Crosses (Lithuanian: Kryžių kalnas) is a site of pilgrimage about 12 km north of the city of Šiauliai, in northern Lithuania. The exact origins are unknown, but it is considered that the first crosses were placed on the former Jurgaičiai or Domantai hill fort after the 1831 Uprising.
