Vetvenik (Ветвеник) is one of villages in Russia situated some 90 km north-east of Tartu and 880 km from Moscow, 90 km north-east of Russia - Estonia border. The population of Vetvenik is about 110 people (census of 2008). People mostly visit it to see its lakes.

Tartu (IATA: TAY) is the nearest airport to Vetvenik, situated just 100 km to the south-west.
