Tunis (تونس) is the capital and the largest city in Tunisia situated some 10 km south-west of Aryānah. According to the latest census, the population of Tunis is about 693,300 people, making it the largest city in Tunisia. Thousands of tourists visit Tunis every year to see its lakes and roman catholic cathedrals.

1. Lake of Tunis
The Lake of Tunis (البحيرة, El Bahira, French: Lac de Tunis) is a natural lagoon located between the Tunisian capital city of Tunis and the Gulf of Tunis (Mediterranean Sea). The lake covers a total of 37 square kilometres, about 14 sq. Mi, in contrast to its size its depth is very shallow. It was once the natural harbour of Tunis.

2. Cathedral of St. Vincent de Paul
The Cathedral of St Vincent de Paul is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Tunis. It is named in honour of Saint Vincent de Paul, a priest sold into slavery in Tunis, who after being freed took an interest in helping Christian slaves in the area. The cathedral is the headquarters of the Diocese of Tunis. It is situated in the Place de l'Indépendence in the Ville Nouvelle, a crossroads between Avenue Habib Bourguiba and Avenue de France, opposite the French embassy.

3. Bab Saadoun
Bab Saadoun is one of the gates of the medina of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia.
