San Marino (
Città di San Marino) is the capital and the second largest city in
San Marino, located some 20 km to the south from
Santarcangelo di Romagna, 30 km south-west of Italy border. The population is about 4,600 people in accordance with the 2011 census. San Marino is a popular tourist destination thanks to its towers and town squares.
San Marino is served by Rimini (IATA: RMI) airport, which is 30 km away.

Guaita is one of three peaks which overlooks the city of San Marino, the capital of San Marino. The other two are De La Fratta and Montale.
The Three Towers of San Marino are a group of towers located in the small European country of San Marino. Located on the three peaks of Monte Titano in the capital, also called San Marino, they are depicted on both the national flag and coat of arms. San Marino also has a cake known as La Torta Di Tre Monti (Cake of the Three Mountains/Towers), as a symbol for the area, it is a layered wafer cake covered in chocolate.

The Palazzo Pubblico (Italian: Public Palace) is the town hall of the City of San Marino as well as its official Government Building. The building, where official State ceremonies take place, is the seat of the Republic's main institutional and administrative bodies: the Captains Regent, the Grand and General Council, the Council of XII, and the Congress of State.
The Basilica di San Marino (Marino translates from Latin to " man of the sea" ) is a Catholic church located in the Republic of San Marino. While the country has a distinct domination of historic religious buildings of Christian faith, the basilica is the main church of the City of San Marino. It is situated on the Piazza Domus Plebis in the northeastern edge of the city, adjacent to the Church of St. Peter. It is dedicated to San Marino diacono, the founder and patron of the Republic.
Monte Titano is the highest peak in San Marino, in the Apennines. It stands at 749 m and is located immediately to the east of the capital, San Marino.
Sammarinese Museum of Ancient Arms (Museo delle armi antiche di San Marino in Italian) is located in the Cesta, the second tower of San Marino. The museum opened in 1956 due to agreement with Sammarinese collector Giovanni Carlo Giorgetti. Exhibition, divided to four rooms, contains about 2000 ancient arms and armours. It is part of the Musei di Stato.
Santuario della Beata Vergine della Consolazione is a church in San Marino. It belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Marino-Montefeltro. It was built in 1964 and consecrated in 1967.
