Oberläger is one of villages in
Switzerland situated some 120 km south-west of
Zurich and 80 km from
the capital, 120 km north-west of Switzerland -
Italy border. The population of the the small place was estimated at 130 people according to the 2011 census People mostly visit Oberläger to see its scenic lookouts.
The nearest airport Air Base (IATA: ZIN) is about 30 km away.
Things to do in it
First is a minor summit on the slopes of the Schwarzhorn in the Bernese Oberland. It is mostly known as a cable car station above Grindelwald and as a popular hiking area with the Bachalpsee in proximity. It is also the destination of the classic hike: Schynige Platte-Faulhorn-First.
