Ngong Ping is the ninth largest city in Hong Kong, located some 50 km to the east from Zhuhai, 50 km south-west of China border. The capital city Hong Kong is in 40 km to the east. According to the latest census, the population of Ngong Ping is about 5,100 people, making it the ninth largest city in Hong Kong. Many people visit Ngong Ping each year to take a look at its famous monuments and memorials and islands.

1. Tian Tan Buddha
Tian Tan Buddha (simplified Chinese: 天坛大佛; traditional Chinese: 天壇大佛; Mandarin Pinyin: Tiān Tán Dà Fó; Jyutping: tin1 taan4 daai6 fat6), also known as the Big Buddha, is a large bronze statue of a Buddha, completed in 1993, and located at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island, in Hong Kong. The statue is located near Po Lin Monastery and symbolises the harmonious relationship between man and nature, people and religion. 2. Ngong Ping 360
The Ngong Ping 360 is a tourism project on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. The project was previously known as Tung Chung Cable Car Project before acquiring the Ngong Ping 360 brand in April 2005. It consists of the Ngong Ping Cable Car, a gondola lift formerly known as the Ngong Ping 360 Skyrail, and the Ngong Ping Village, a retail and entertainment centre adjacent to the cable car's upper station.

3. Ngong Ping
Ngong Ping (Шаблон: Zh) is a highland in the western part of Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It hosts Po Lin Monastery and Tian Tan Buddha amidst the hills which is about 34 m tall. There are several hills nearby which are also an attraction to tourists. It is now the terminus of the cable car ride Ngong Ping 360 which travels to Tung Chung. New facilities and tourist attractions have opened including the Ngong Ping Village, Walking with the Buddha, the Monkey's Tale Theatre and Ngong Ping Tea House…
