Milot is the town in Haiti, located some 30 km to the south from Cap-Haïtien, 70 km west of Dominican Republic border. The capital city Port-au-Prince is in 160 km to the south. The population of the the small town was estimated at 5,600 people according to the 2009 census People mostly visit Milot to see its palaces.

1. Sans-Souci Palace
The Sans-Souci Palace was the royal residence of King Henri I (better known as Henri Christophe) of Haiti. Construction of the palace started in 1810 and was completed in 1813. It is located in the town of Milot, Nord Department. Its name translated from French means " without worry. "
