Melano is the small town in
Switzerland, located some 20 km to the south-east from
Lugano, 70 km north-west of Italy border. The capital city
Berne is in 220 km to the north-west. The population is about 1,200 people in accordance with the 2016 census. Many people visit Melano each year to take a look at its famous astronomical observatories.

Monument to the Soviet war veterans is a monument on Avala mountain near Belgrade.
