1. Potala Palace
The Potala Palace (Шаблон: Bo; Шаблон: Zh-st) is located in Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region. It was named after Mount Potala, the abode of Chenresig or Avalokitesvara. The Potala Palace was the chief residence of the Dalai Lama until the 14th Dalai Lama fled to Dharamsala, India, after an invasion and failed uprising in 1959. Today the Potala Palace has been converted into a museum by the Chinese.

2. Jokhang
The Jokhang, (Шаблон: Bo; Шаблон: Zh-cp), also called the Qokang, Шаблон: Fact Jokang, Jokhang Temple, Jokhang Monastery or Tsuklakang (gTsug lag khang), is the first Buddhist temple in Tibet, located on Barkhor Square in Lhasa. It was built during the reign of king Songsten Gampo (605? -650 CE) to celebrate his marriage with Chinese Tang Dynasty princess Wencheng, who was a Buddhist. 3. Drepung Monastery
Drepung Monastery (wylie:'bras spungs dgon), (literally “Rice Heap” monastery), located at the foot of Mount Gephel, is one of the " great three" Gelukpa university monasteries of Tibet. The other two are Ganden and Sera.

4. Norbulingka
Norbulingka (Tibetan: ནོར་བུ་གླིང་ཀ་; Wylie: Nor-bu-gling-ka; simplified Chinese: 罗布林卡; traditional Chinese: 羅布林卡) (literally: " The Jewelled Park" ) is a palace and surrounding park in Lhasa, Tibet which served as the traditional summer residence of the successive Dalai Lamas from the 1780s up until the PRC takeover in the late 1950s.

5. Yerpa
Yerpa (also known as: Brag Yer-pa, Drak Yerpa, Druk Yerpa, Dagyeba, Dayerpa, and Trayerpa), is only a short drive to the east of Lhasa, Tibet, and consists of a monastery and a number of ancient meditation caves that used to house about 300 monks.

6. Monument to the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet
The monument to the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet stands in the southern part of the Potala square in Lhasa, just outside the protective zone and buffer zone of the world heritage site. It celebrates what the People's Republic of China calls the " Peaceful Liberation of Tibet" by the People's Liberation Army,
