Laxey is the sixth largest city in Isle of Man, located some 170 km to the north-west from Liverpool, 130 km north-west of United Kingdom border. The capital city Port Douglas is in 20 km to the south-west. It has a population of 1,800 people. Many people visit Laxey to experience its watermills and mountains.

1. Laxey Wheel

The 1 ft 7 in (483 mm) gauge railway runs from the old mine entrance to the washing floors along a right of way that passes through the Isle of Man's only railway tunnel under the 3 ft (914 mm) gauge Victorian Manx Electric Railway and the main A2 Douglas to Ramsey coast road.

4. Snaefell Wheel
The Snaefell Wheel (also known as Lady Evelyn) is a waterwheel in Laxey, Isle of Man. The wheel stands in the washing floors in Laxey Glen Gardens, approximately 700 metres south of the larger Laxey Wheel.
