Karahta is the small place in
Syria, located some 30 km to the south from
Douma, 130 km east of Lebanon border. The capital city
Damascus is in 30 km to the north-west. The population of the the community was estimated at 120 people according to the 2013 census People mostly visit Karahta to see its archaeological sites.
