Hofuriuji is the settlement in

Hōryū-ji (法隆寺, lit. Temple of the Flourishing Law) is a Buddhist temple in Ikaruga, Nara Prefecture, Japan. Its full name is Hōryū Gakumonji (法隆学問寺), or Learning Temple of the Flourishing Law, the complex serving as seminary and monastery both.
The UNESCO World Heritage Site Buddhist Monuments in the Hōryū-ji Area includes a variety of buildings found in Hōryū-ji and Hokki-ji in Nara Prefecture, Japan. They were designated in 1993 along with the surrounding landscape, under several criteria. The structures inscribed are some of the oldest extent wooden buildings in the world, dating from the 7th to 8th centuries. Many of the monuments are also National Treasures of Japan, and reflect an important age of Buddhist influence in Japan.
Is a tumulus, known as a kofun in Japanese, located in Ikaruga, Nara Prefecture, Japan. It is estimated to date from the later half of the sixth century or the late seventh century. The burial mound is about 40 or 48 metres in diameter, nine metres in height, and the stone chamber the mound covers is sixteen metres in length. Excavation began in 1985. The tomb yielded gilt-bronze ornaments, horse trappings, and a stone coffin.
Hōrin-ji (法輪寺, 法琳寺, 法林寺), or Mii-dera (三井寺、御井寺) is a Buddhist temple in Mii, Ikaruga, Nara, Japan. The temple's honorary sangō prefix is Myōken-san (妙見山). The temple is located about a kilometer north of Hōryū-ji's Tō-in. The origin of the temple is not certain, although there are two prevalent theories, namely that: 1) it was built in 622 AD by Yamashiro no Ōe no ō in his wish for his father, Prince Regent Shōtoku, to recover from an illness, or 2) it was built in 670 by three monks, Kudara Kai…
