Gueria is the small town in Western Sahara, located some 20 km to the south-west from Nouadhibou, 20 km south-west of Mauritania border. The capital city El Aaiún is in 1,050 km to the north-east. The population of the the community was estimated at 100 people according to the 2012 census People mostly visit Gueria to see its abandoned places.
