Giza (الجيزة) is the third largest city in Egypt situated some 20 km north-west of Hawamidyah and 10 km from the capital. The population is about 2,443,300 people in accordance with the 2016 census. Giza is a popular tourist destination thanks to its burial monuments and structures and monuments and memorials.

The ship was almost certainly built for Khufu (King Cheops), the second pharaoh of the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Egypt.

7. Giza Zoo
