France, located some 20 km to the south-east from
Saumur. The capital city
Paris is in 330 km to the north-east. The population of Fontevrault is 1,500 people (as of 2016). Many people visit Fontevrault each year to take a look at its famous christian monasteries and castles.

Fontevraud Abbey (or Fontevrault Abbey) is located in the village of Fontevraud-l'Abbaye, near Chinon, in Anjou, France. It was founded by the itinerant reforming preacher Robert of Arbrissel, who had just created a new order, the Order of Fontevrault. The first permanent structures were built between 1110 and 1119.
Zug Castle is a castle in the municipality of Zug of the Canton of Zug in Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
