Dudelange is the third largest city in
Luxembourg situated some 20 km east of
Esch-sur-Alzette and 20 km from
the capital, 20 km north-west of Luxembourg -
France border. The population of Dudelange is 18,100 people (as of 2008). People mostly visit Dudelange to see its castles.
Luxembourg (IATA: LUX) is the nearest airport to it, situated just 30 km to the north-east.
Best things to see in it
The ruins of Dudelange Castle (French: Château de Dudelange) are located on Mont St Jean, a forested hill to the west of Dudelange in the south of Luxembourg. The castle was completed in the early 16th century but was destroyed in 1552.
