Chaupi is one of villages in
Ecuador situated some 100 km east of
Santo Domingo de los Colorados and 10 km from
the capital. The population of Chaupi is about 170 people (census of 2012). Chaupi is a popular tourist destination thanks to its chair- and aerial lifts and amusement parks.

El TelefériQo (from teleférico and Quito) is a gondola lift in Quito, Ecuador, running from the edge of the city centre up the east side of Pichincha Volcano to a lookout known as Cruz Loma. It is one of the highest aerial lifts in the world, rising from 2950 metres (8850 ft) to 4100 metres (13, 400 ft). The ascent takes 40 minutes, travelling some 2500 linear metres.
Vulqano Park is an amusement park in Quito, Ecuador. The park is part of a much larger entertainment complex named the TelefériQo.
