Bardenen is the small place in Lithuania, located some 10 km to the north from Neman, 10 km north of Russia border. The capital city Vilnius is in 280 km to the east. Rambynas is a hill (about 46 meters high) in western Lithuania, on the bank of the Neman River. Across the river is Russian exclave of Kaliningrad Oblast. The hill belongs to the territory of Rambynas Regional Park. The nearby larger city is Pagėgiai and Tauragė in Lithuania, Neman and Sovetsk in Kaliningrad Oblast.
