Apeldoorn (
Apeldoorne) is one of cities in
Netherlands situated some 20 km south of
Vasen and 100 km from
the capital, 130 km north-west of Netherlands -
Germany border. The population is about 136,700 people in accordance with the 2013 census. Many people visit Apeldoorn to experience its palaces and obelisks.

Paleis Het Loo (English: " Palace The Woods" ) is a palace in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. The symmetrical Dutch Baroque building was designed by Jacob Roman and Johan van Swieten and was built between 1684 and 1686 for stadtholder-king William III and Mary II of England. The garden was designed by Claude Desgotz.
De Naald (English: The Needle) is an obelisk-shaped monument at the side of the Zwolseweg road in the Dutch city of Apeldoorn, near Het Loo Palace. It is built of stone and surrounded by a low iron fence.
Het Oude Loo (Шаблон: IPA-nl; The Old Woods) is a 15th-century castle on the estate of Het Loo Palace in Apeldoorn in the Netherlands. The castle was built as a hunting lodge and is surrounded by a moat. The castle is currently used by the Dutch Royal Family as a country house and guest residence. It is not open for the public.
