Stolac is the small town in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located some 170 km to the north-west from Podgorica, 120 km north-west of Montenegro border. The capital city Sarajevo is in 120 km to the north-east. The population of Stolac is about 7,800 people (census of 2012). People mostly visit Stolac to see its archaeological sites and castles.

1. Daorson
Daorson (Ancient Greek: Δαορσών) was the capital of a Hellenised Illyrian tribe called the Daorsi (Ancient Greek Δαόριζοι, Δαούρσιοι; Latin Daorsei). The Daorsi lived in the valley of the Neretva River between 300 BC and 50 BC. The ruins of Daorson can be found at Ošanjići, near Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Vidoški is the medieval city of Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The ancient city is located above the modern city.
