Las Cuevas is one of villages in Ecuador situated some 2,480 km north-west of Lima and 1,730 km from the capital. The population of the the community was estimated at 90 people according to the 2011 census People mostly visit Las Cuevas to see its islands and volcanos.

Floreana Island is an island of the Galápagos Islands. It was named after Juan José Flores, the first president of Ecuador, during whose administration the government of Ecuador took possession of the archipelago, having previously been called Charles Island (after King Charles II of England). It is also called Santa Maria after one of the caravels of Columbus.

2. La Cumbre (Galápagos Islands)
La Cumbre is a shield volcano on Fernandina Island in the Galápagos Islands. La Cumbre is also the youngest volcano in the Galápagos Islands.
