Bogotá is the capital and the largest city in Colombia situated some 20 km north-east of Soacha. The population is about 7,674,400 people in accordance with the 2009 census. Thousands of tourists visit Bogotá every year to see its roman catholic churches and theatres.

2. Teatro de Cristóbal Colón
The Teatro de Cristóbal Colón (The Chistopher Columbus Theatre), also known as the " Teatro Colón" is located in Bogotá, Colombia and it is the nation's National Theatre. It was built in the Neoclassical style by the Italian architect Pietro Cantini in 1885 and inaugurated on 27 October 1892 on the occasion of the fourth centenary of the discovery of America with a performance of Verdi's Ernani.

7. Torre Colpatria
Torre Colpatria (Colpatria Tower) is a 50-story building located in Bogotá, Colombia. It is the tallest in the country and the second tallest in South America. It was built in 1978, and has a total height of 196 meters. The main headquarters of Colpatria Bank are located in the building, and also a great number of other banks and financial corporations have offices on it. The building lies at the intersection of 26th street and 7th avenue, in the heart of the city's downtown.

8. Casa de Moneda de Colombia
The Casa de Moneda de Colombia (Spanish for Colombian mint) is a Colombian currency museum based in the city of Bogotá. It was founded in 1621 as the mint (" casa de moneda" translates as " mint" ). The current mint is known simply as the Fábrica de Moneda (coin factory).
