Homs (حمص) is the third largest city in Syria, located some 20 km to the south from Talbiseh, 120 km north-east of Lebanon border. The capital city Damascus is in 190 km to the south-west. The population of Homs is about 775,500 people (census of 2013). People mostly visit it to see its mosques and christian monasteries.

It is served by Bassel Al Assad Intl (IATA: LTK) airport, which is 140 km away.
