Laasby is the small place in
Norway, located some 20 km to the south-west from
Lillestrøm, 130 km west of Sweden border. The capital city
Oslo is in 20 km to the west. The population of Laasby is 100 people (as of 2009). People mostly visit Laasby to see its museums.

Haukåsen Radar is one of two air traffic control radars serving Oslo's Gardermoen Airport, the other being the airport radar itself. The radar is a landmark structure visible from most of Oslo, located inside a white radome on the hillcrest Haukåsen in Østmarka, elevation 357 meters above sea level, south-east of the suburb of Haugerud in the Grorud Valley.
