Sveti Stefan is the small town in Montenegro, located some 10 km to the south-east from Budva, 80 km north-west of Albania border. The capital city Podgorica is in 50 km to the north-east. The population of Sveti Stefan is about 500 people (census of 2010). Many people visit Sveti Stefan each year to take a look at its famous resorts.

It used to be a tidal island, but is now permanently connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus.
