Daigo is the town in Japan, located some 150 km to the north-east from Saitama. The capital city Tokyo is in 180 km to the south-west. The population of Daigo is 22,400 people (as of 2009). Many people visit Daigo each year to take a look at its famous waterfalls.

1. Fukuroda Falls
Fukuroda Falls (袋田の滝, Fukurodanotaki) are located in Ibaraki Prefecture in the town of Daigo (大子町, Daigomachi), district Fukuroda (袋田). The Taki River (滝川, Takigawa) has its source spring just above the falls. The river flows through the falls and ultimately joins a major Kuji river (久慈川, Kujigawa).
