Farkash Gallery collection

The Farkash Gallery collection[1] is the largest collection in the world of vintage historical Israeli posters. In this collection, there are posters from early years before the establishment of the state of Israel ("Eretz Israel" Hebrew ארץ ישראל) until today. The Farkash Gallery collection (Hebrew "גלריה פרקש") was founded in 1948 by the Farkash Family and is located in Old Jaffa, 5th Mazal Dagim Street, Israel. Today the Farkash Gallery is run by Aharon Farkash.

In the collection you can find many posters in many subjects like:

  • Military posters. Posters of Israel's wars, special operations est.
  • Political posters. Issued by the political parties and political activists.
  • Historical posters.
  • Zionist posters.
  • Advertisement posters.
  • Movies and theater posters.

The Farkash gallery also specializes in fine art of the 20th century, 20th century Israeli and international fine Art, 20th Century Modern and Contemporary paintings and sculptures, Jewish and Israeli Art including "Ecole de Paris", Judaica & Israeliana , Bezalel work, Vintage Israeli Posters and rare photographs.
